DIAGNOSTICS

Diagnostics

Investigations are used to diagnose what is causing a patient’s symptoms. Taken in conjunction with a detailed history and thorough clinical examination, they allow your clinician to reach a working diagnosis that permits subsequent treatment. The choice of test depends on a number of factors; your Consultant will be able to discuss with you which tests are appropriate and what they will involve.

Some basic information is given here regarding some common diagnostic investigations. Please contact us should you wish to know more, or ask your specialist at your consultation.
